Lily and Amber Rose, princess sisters that have been raised in the Elven forest. Unaware they are the last blood heirs to the throne of Shimear. They grow up with elves, keeping them safe from ruthless Queen Serena. When Marigold's daughters are old enough and the Queen is no longer concerned with them, they leave the familiar world of the elves to live on her late father's horse farm, where unicorns run. With a small band of horses the three women learn to live without the protection of the elves.

Tragedy strikes when Amber, the younger sister, is kidnapped. Lily goes on an adventure to try and save Amber from the clutches of the evil being that holds her captive. Her mother's staff, the horn of a unicorn, may be the only way to freeing her little sister.
